What is RACI matrix in project management?

It is the Responsibility Assignment Matrix which is popularly known as RACI Matrix can be characterized as a helpful measurement for splitting Activities and Responsibilities between colleagues in a venture’s Projects.

RACI stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed. Each letter addresses a degree of undertaking certain responsibility.

It gives project supervisors a method for building a diagram of the Activities and deliverables engaged with a Project.

There are four fundamental parts an individual who is engaged with the undertaking Project might play:

  • Responsible
  • Accountable
  • Consulted
  • Informed

I: Informed: While not being a does, giver or a piece of the dynamic cycle in the making of Decision, these members should be kept advised/ informed about the venture’s Project advancements.
