RACI stands for responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed.
RACI chart is used to understand the roles by team members and stakeholders in the project. They are using this matrix to assign roles and responsibilities during a project.
Stakeholder analysis is a required activity of any project engagement. Stakeholder analysis is the process of identifying the individuals or groups likely to be affected by a proposed action.
A RACI Matrix is a way of analyzing the responsibilities of individual stakeholders in relation to a business activity. It’s a simple table or Chart that lists all stakeholders on a project and their level involvement in each task.
While working on project, it’s important to assign the task and responsibilities to the team member who are involved in the project. The RASCI matrix is an important tool that will create the clear vision of responsibilities’ of the concern employee. Most of the companies / project is using the Technic for the same. It’s an important responsibility of project management, to implement in the process .
As per the project find the below mentioned stakeholders and their activities as per RACI

Responsible: Does the work to achieve the task -Person who perform a task/activity; refer to the doer, responsible for action/implementation and Responsible to create the document. – Business Analyst
Accountable: Has authority to approve or disapprove the result. Person who has ultimate accountable for Project – project manager
Supports Provides supporting services in the project , As teams are not directly involved in the project but they are support to the Project like resource requirement – HR team will help out / Admin Team support for administration support to team.
Consulted: Person to be consulted before a final decision or action is taken. To whom we can consult for the project. While start the project stake holders are more consulted for the requirement gathering and what exactly they need on the project.
Informed: Person that needs to be informed after a decision or action is taken. It must be informed of any changes. As Sponsors are financially support for the project hence we have to inform the status of the project to sponsors.
