Project goal settings:
It is truly based on what type of project we are having in our hands.
First, I should understand the project’s need completely from the user aspect and start with “AS IF” and it will be concluded what “TO BE”.
Use SMART technique to set the project goal.
Like, it should be,
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Realistic
- Time-Bound
Monitor the progress of the goal:
- List high priority goals at the top
- Split them into smaller task to achieve easily
- Give some time bound to achieve tasks.
- In between discuss with the team for the review queries which need to be clarify first.
- Review and discuss the progress regularly for a small catch up.
- Appreciate then and there for-team members efforts
- Discuss the output of the single task and what we achieved as part of this
- We will end up in successful project completion
