How do you ensure that your project is on schedule to meet the deadline?

Successful project completion is the goal of every project leader and to ensure completion on scheduled time and that too with zero errors. Project deadlines will be fixed only on discussing the complexity of project and feasibility for completion within given stipulated time span,

During project team might face issues on completion of tasks, sprints etc., where any new technology is used, or project team is newly joined. Few issues or challenges might face which was not risk calculated during inception of the project,

To avoid further any challenges in any project Risk analysis is must at early stages of project to avoid complications at all stages of projects and successful execution of project with errors, Feasibility study, SWOT analysis, will help in project to identify all type of future risks, and challenges,

During working on projects team members should be aware of all these parameters to avoid any defects during process and scheduled deadline. Parameters like resources, quality, change, should not be compromised at any cost to achieve any deadline.

• Task completion: Project manager/lead should keep eye on every task completion and should ensure successful completion without errors vide conducting weekly meeting and if any backlogs same should be highlighted
• Backlog/Defects: These can be faced at any stage of project and should have control by project manager to minimize risk of non-completion of project in deadline
• Strategies: Project lead must apply different strategies to ensure successful execution of project

Change request hugely impact on completion of project and deal with customer, and with respect to allocated budget and timelines, as project lead same should be handled carefully by not to directly denying any change request submitted by customer. Same should be acknowledged first and then discussed with entire team and stakeholders on feasibility to make changes at running stage of project and complexity and impact on meeting deadline of project.

Using techniques like MOSCOW, Prioritization, SWOT analysis, GAP analysis it will lead and help to successful project completion, all type of elicitation and prioritization technique will help in aligning and assigning work amongst team members and execution with zero errors and challenges,

UAT is the final stage of every project which shows project is completed and ready to test by customer, driving customers for UAT and successful acceptance ensures projects is completed and achievements.
