Enterprise analysis

Enterprise analysis is an Executive or more of Organisation level activity which includes all  aspects/ values the bell curve primary and supporting, upwards and downwards, where longer-term business requirements are examined, strategic directions are explained, and assertive  responses and solutions are identified and examined for giving  scope to situations and scenarios.

We can co-relate SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis as a method for identifying and analyzing internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats that shape current and future operations and help develop strategic goals in Enterprise/Strategic analysis.

Enterprise Analysis creates and provides business solutions to Documentation and Quality Assurances for designed projects. Staff can collaborate with vendors of software development and technical team members to ensure a co-related and clear understanding of the business model and the detailed functional requirements of the project. Enterprise analysis is also called as strategic enterprise analysis or organisation analysis. This emphasises on understanding the needs of the business as at Macro and Micro level. It gives focussed attention on strategic direction, and identifying initiatives that allows a business to meet those strategic goals. Enterprise Analysis describes on definition of strategic ideas, concepts and goals and the strategic planning required fulfilling the Industry and Market trends. To analyse we should consider the following:

Business analysts identify business sectors that are to be developed. They concentrate on the specific work and help others to implement ad communicate changes accordingly.

There are three types of analytics that businesses use to drive their decision making; descriptive analytics, which tell us what has already happened; predictive analytics, which show us what could happen, and finally, prescriptive analytics, which inform us what should happen in the future.

In a business analysis model, there is a frame work that sets up a business, Goals, operations, regulations process, for example, hiring a new staff for to place order for goods required for a project. This is also defined as Process mapping. This leads to improving process efficiency, training, and complying with industry rules and regulations.

Business Analysts are good communicators, problem-solvers, and can think critically. They can understand the need to create and fulfil requirements, Visualise and analyze requirements, create visual models, conduct elicitation sessions, and use business analyst tools as and when required.

Analysis Model is a process representation of the system. It is a link between system description and design model. Analysis modelling states information on behaviour, and functions of the system and are defined and translated into the desired architect level design in the design modelling.

Strategic analysis refers to the full process of an organization and its working environment to make and implement strategy. There are many other definitions of strategic analysis with a different perspective. But they all consists more of common factors as well.


An enterprise analysis suffices the need of something desired in connected support of the organisation’s activities. It include activities such things as updated information o market, development in business, product, output, and services.



Enterprise business analyst can be summarised as:

Creates business analysis documents and quality assurances for applicable projects. It collaborates with software developers (vendors) and technical team members so as to share a better understanding of the business model and the detailed functional requirements.
