A change request is a proposal to alter a system or product, often brought by clients or a team member. Business Analyst often function as agent of change. There are two types of change request: inside the scope and outside the scope. Inside the scope change request have minimal impact on project and the budget while in outside the scope change request take a considerable amount of time to implement and has impact on project. Change request should be recorded and approved by the Project Manager. Once the change request is made whole team should be informed. BA should analyses the impact of change to customers, business unit, process, people, systems and documents.
