 Introduction

Business analysis planning and monitoring is a task which is perform by a business analyst. It stands for coordination of efforts between the business analyst and stakeholder. Planning and monitoring knowledge area describe the process of how business analyst decides which activities will be needed to complete the business analysis effort. Planning is the first stage to start a work or task, which ensure that what task need to be done reach the goal or target. Monitoring is to check, record or test something regularly for a period of time. That means the task which is decided to perform at the time of planning need to monitor on regular basis or certain period.

Business Analysis

Business analysis is the practice of enabling change in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Business analysis enables an enterprise to articulate needs and the rationale for change, and to design and describe solutions that can deliver value.

Business analysis is performed on a variety of initiatives within an enterprise. Initiatives may be strategic, tactical, or operational. Business analysis may be performed within the boundaries of a project or throughout enterprise evolution and continuous improvement. It can be used to understand the current state, to define the future state, and to figure out the activities needed to move from the current to the future state.

A business analyst collaborates along with the technical team and acts as a link between stakeholders of Client and the technical Team. He is the coordinator of the technical team to the Client and all Client Communications will happen through a Business Analyst. He/ She will elicit, analyse, communicate, and confirm requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems in the existing business proves of the Client. The business analyst determines business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

The functioning of the activities performed by BA s during the various stages of development are monitored and tracked under performance monitoring Performance measures, reporting and corrective actions play a vital role for performance monitoring.
