Scrum is a possible agile project management methodology that makes use of sprints, which are fixed-length work iterations. Every sprint has four stages that give it structure.
The backlog, or body of work that needs to be completed, is where it all begins. The product backlog, which is owned by the product owner and is a prioritised list of features, and the sprint backlog, which is filled with tasks, are the two backlogs used in scrum.

Scrum Board
To visualise all of the work in a given sprint, a scrum board is used. The team transfers items from the merchandise backlog into the sprint backlog during the sprint planning meeting. Scrum boards provide for the visualisation of several workflow processes, including To Do, In Progress, and Done. Agile project management’s primary tool for boosting openness is the scrum board.
Estimating an agile project
Both kanban and scrum project management place a strong emphasis on project estimating. Project estimation is a tool that Scrum teams use to determine how much work can be completed in a given sprint. To determine a numerical value for the task at hand, many agile teams use novel estimation methodologies like planning poker, ideal hours, or narrative points. Agile teams can use this as a point of reference to look back on during sprint retrospectives to assess their team’s performance.

Project estimates come into play at the start and finish of every sprint. They not only help teams decide what they can do at the start of the sprint, but they also demonstrate how accurate the top-level estimations were. Agile reports, such as Burndown diagrams, display the proportion of “story points” that were finished during the sprint. Jira Software provides numerous pre-built reports providing up-to-the-minute, useful insights into how your teams are doing. Agile teams can improve by using data to back up their retrospectives.
Managing the backlog and grooming
A prioritised list of tasks for the development team that are derived from the product roadmap and its requirements is known as a product backlog. For each sprint, the event team selects work from the product backlog.
