2. What do you understand by requirement ? Can you differentiate between requirements and needs ?

Requirements are the fundamental basic steps to fulfill the clients expectations in structured format. These are represented in structured or tabular
format to produce candid explanation to development and testing team.

There are two types of requirements

a) Functional requirement – The requirement which is associated with fundamental expectation of customer and fulfills the needs of customer

b) Non Functional requirement – The requirement which is associated as subordinate expectation of customer and does not affect the main stream
development of software.

Need is the basic goal , vision of customer that customer produce in front of company to convert into meaningfull consequences. Need comprises of
all kind of ambiguous thoughts of customer which is filtered out by business analyst.
